Day 3 draws to a close with accommodation troubles

So we made Hereford. Seemed like a long 75 miles.

As I rub cream where it's needed and wash my kit, I ruminate on a fab day.

We worked well as a team, climbing and whizzing along well. Some sparky words and attitudes as we chatted about stuff too! All good stuff.

The Wye valley between Cheppy and Monmouth was a treat, so much so that took the liberty of bimbling along at a gentle pace, a treat.

Enjoyed a contretemps between DB and Stanno on an uphill corner..funny for all to see, they're like a married couple.

So tonight we say farewell to Skanny,

the irrepressible positive energy ball, and Alan,

the hawk. Northern Irish, taciturn, sharp of wit...and I think he'd really like to do the whole thing! Bet he'll be pleased to be sleeping without the snoring beast Stanno. Xx farewell for now pedalling friends. We'll play paste the lube with you again soon.
